"Remember that it is not hasty reading, but serious meditation on holy and heavenly truths, that makes them prove sweet and profitable to the soul. It is not the mere touching of the flower by the bee that gathers honey, but her abiding for a time on the flower that draws out the sweet. It is not he that reads most, but he that meditates most, that will prove to be the choicest, sweetest, wisest and strongest Christian." (Thomas Brooks)

touching presentation of how powerful the law can be to demonstrate our inadequacy. The question is how needy is this generation to assume guilt and therby flock to the remedy for pardon and salvation through the atonement.
It was awesome to witness the change of countenance of the young woman. Perhaps the tears were of contrition or maybe just embarassment.
Often in evangelism, we just prick the conscience and do not drive home the need for conscious choosing to exchange a carnal life with a spiritual life--only through the choice to give oneself to Jesus Christ.
Then, and only then, will real fruit begin to manifest. The fruit of repentance which starts in the heart and move outward towards the actions and behavior of the person--made whole through their conversion.
