Osteen and Self-Esteem According to Paul Washer
"Remember that it is not hasty reading, but serious meditation on holy and heavenly truths, that makes them prove sweet and profitable to the soul. It is not the mere touching of the flower by the bee that gathers honey, but her abiding for a time on the flower that draws out the sweet. It is not he that reads most, but he that meditates most, that will prove to be the choicest, sweetest, wisest and strongest Christian." (Thomas Brooks)

As always... great teaching by Paul Washer!
He's absolutely right! It's not about big ministries or the size of your congregation. However, I think it's sad that he feels he needs to drag Joel Osteens name thru the mud and is very bold to say that he knows preachers of Christs gospel will land in hell. Yes, there will be those who say Lord lord and yet He will say I did not know you. But watch that you look for the character and the content of the preacher and how they represent Christ. Maybe you should read the book and exhort those to grow in their character in Christ without tearing down a brother in Christ, lest it be to your or his shame on judgement day.
In love,
Mrs. Tiffany Phillips
PS True prosperity has to do with how you use your resources to glorify God, not how much or how little you have, Paul speaks of contentment with much and with little. Read your WORD a little more. :)
Tiffany, Osteen is no Christian.

Osteen's type of "Christianity" leads people straight to hell.
