You're Not Worthy to be a Christian
This is short testimony about dealing with doubt.

"Remember that it is not hasty reading, but serious meditation on holy and heavenly truths, that makes them prove sweet and profitable to the soul. It is not the mere touching of the flower by the bee that gathers honey, but her abiding for a time on the flower that draws out the sweet. It is not he that reads most, but he that meditates most, that will prove to be the choicest, sweetest, wisest and strongest Christian." (Thomas Brooks)

Excellent, Doug!
A great reminder!
Just found you blog and wanted to say thanks! I've listened to this guy's other video clips and he's really a wonderful encourager of the truth.
Blessings in Christ,
Vicki
thanks for the good word
Vicki,
Doug of Godward Thoughts and "this guy" are one and the same :-); and I agree with you "this guy" is a wonderful encourager of the truth. These thoughts remind me of Rom. 8:28 and following through the end of that chapter . . . there is no one to condemn, because if God doesn't condemn us, who can. Awesome thoughts, Doug . . . it is this kind of thinking and reality that the Lord has used to carry me through some very guilt ridden dark dreary times in life. And He still does!
Thanks for the encouragement guys... And to think I almost didn't post it because I was worried it might be to personal.
God Bless,
Doug
