Never mind I went to Apologetics.com and am listening to it now. "It is like God's 'Amen' to Jesus' statement 'It is finished.'" Awesome.

On my way. . .I'm working on a piece of calligraphy today and I'll listen as I work. Maybe it'll give me inspiration!

Ok. Here's the thing.

I didn't get much more than paper and pen ready and a few lines ruled on the guide sheet. I was immediately hooked.

This show lives up to its motto--to make believers think and thinkers believe. However, I can't letter and think that deeply at the same time, apparently. ;-)

Doug, I'm a fan! You did a great job. It was cool "getting to know you" a little bit through this podcast.

And John (Snyder?) is like a terrier, like a dog with a bone. You can't get anything past him, can you? He asks great questions and hangs in until he at least gets them addressed if not answered. I'll be thinking about this all day.

I'm going to link it up on my blog later on today. Right now I am going to have to catch up on my morning!

Thanks again for the stimulating Monday morning.

That was good Doug. Not to many people think about how our sanctification is tied to Christ's ressurection. Not only is the resurrection of Christ the basis for our justification, it is also provides the basis for a new life for a believer. For we who have been justified by faith in Christ, have died to sin with him in his death, and are resurrected to the newness of life in his resurrection. Therefore, as the Apostle Paul says, "just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life" (Romans 6:4). This is the basis for the new life that we are to live out. It is one of those "already and not yets" of the Bible. We are already raised, and we are already new, but we have not yet become what the Bible declares us to be. Therefore we need to walk out that new life that we have in Christ, being resurrected with him.

We experience this resurrection power by knowing what God has declared us to be, namely, a new creation in Christ. In light of what we are in Christ we experience Christ's resurrection power by acting in accord with what we are in him. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." The believer can be strengthened by verses such as this one. This one is wonderful because it tells us what we are positionally in Christ because of the ressurection.

Anyways, I am rambling now. I just thought it was good that you mentioned that our sanctification hinges on the ressurection.

Good show!
